Because our Cairns fishing charters are for your private group only, tour starting times become fairly flexible but around  7-7.30 am seems to be the preferred  kick off time. From there it depends on your interests and preferences . Maybe  dropping baits on the reef edge for Coral Trout, Red Throat Emperor and other assorted reef fish or deeper water for Red Emperor, Cod and Nannygai. Maybe trolling for Spanish Mackerel, Tuna, Wahoo and Mahi Mahi. How about Jigging and Lure casting for Trevally?  Better still, how about a combination? The benefits of our small group, private charters is that you are welcome to choose your target species and fishing methods without fear of conflict to others on board. The tour will consist of just you, your friends or family and myself. With a maximum of only 4 people onboard you are assured of abundant fishing room, a dramatic increase of fishing action per angler ratio and enjoying the day with the company you would rather keep.
